Your Business Has A Ceiling.
Now Let's Compound It.

We partner with proven operators in the room, in the build, invested in the outcome.

THE REAL PROBLEM?

You've built a successful business. Now you're running it in pieces.

The revenue is real. The team is real. The relationships are real. What’s missing is the infrastructure that ties them together: the intelligence systems, operational architecture, and capital strategy that turn a good business into one that compounds.

The firms that have been calling, or the ones you’ve been calling, were designed for a different kind of deal. Not a fund chasing a return multiple. Not a consulting firm handing you a binder. Lafayette & Oak is something else entirely. An evolved model built around you, the operator, your team, and your long game.

THE FIT

We are selective. So are our partners.

You’re doing $5M to $50M in revenue. The business works. The team is real. But the engine that got you here won’t get you to the next number, and you know it.

We work with a limited number of operators at a time. That’s not a constraint, it’s the model. The partnerships that produce real outcomes are the ones where both sides are genuinely aligned on goals, pace, and what success looks like. We have to fit you. And you have to fit us.

We Partner With Operators Who:

  • Know Their Numbers
  • Own the Outcome
  • Are Building To Last
  • Welcome Scrutiny
  • Are Done Going It Alone
  • Want A Partner, Not A Vendor

THE WORK

From first conversation to compounding outcome.

There is no standard engagement at Lafayette & Oak. Every operator is different. Every gap is different. What does not change is how we work, a disciplined process from diagnosis to build to compound, designed to produce infrastructure you own outright and outcomes that last.

Phase 1:
Architect

Phase 1:
Architect

Design the systems. Build the foundation.

We audit your systems, data flows, and decision chains. Then we build the operational infrastructure your business should have had two years ago. One source of truth. Documented processes. A CRM that finally works. The foundation everything else compounds on.

Phase 1:
Architect
Phase 2:
Accelerate

Phase 2:
Accelerate

Deploy intelligence. Install the engine.

We install custom AI agents on your data. Email drafting, contact enrichment, CRM updates, outreach sequences. Built on your hardware. No vendor lock-in. Your senior people stop doing manual work. Your team gets its seniority back.

Phase 2:
Accelerate
Phase 3:
Multiply

Phase 3:
Multiply

Same business, dramatically more output.

With the foundation running and the engine compounding, you choose the outcome. Multiply what you've built. Buy what you haven't. Or own the category you've been competing in. The Arc made any of them possible.

Doctrine

  • Operator-First. Always.
Your business. Your team. Your relationships. Your call. We translate what you've built into a coordinated system. You decide the direction.
  • In the Foxhole.
Not billing the hour. Not consulting from a distance. Operator-to-operator, in the room, in the build, until the system runs.
  • Infrastructure, Not Decks.
Every engagement produces systems the operation keeps. The deliverable is a running operation, not a binder on a shelf.
  • You Own Everything.
Hardware, systems, workflows, data. All of it yours outright from day one. No recurring licenses. No vendor lock-in.
  • Capital Is Part of the Build.
Access to capital isn't a separate conversation. It's built into every engagement from the start, structured around what the operator actually needs, not what a fund needs to deploy.
  • Built to Compound.
What we build today should still be running when you scale, acquire, raise, or hand it off. The work pays back across years, not in a single engagement window.

They do not just talk about growth, they engineer it. From the very first conversation, I could see their depth of experience in structuring deals, unlocking capital, and driving operational excellence.

We're Operators. Not Theorists.

Every person at Lafayette & Oak has built, scaled, or exited something of their own. The work happens operator-to-operator - in the room, in the build, committed to the same outcome you are.
  • ABHI GOLHAR

Abhi has built seven companies, closed more than thirty investments, and spent 3+ years working alongside the FBI after discovering he was a victim of mortgage fraud at 22 years old.

The wreckage taught him what most consultants never learn: the difference between motion and momentum. Between being busy and actually building. Between projecting confidence and having ground under your feet.

He turned that lesson into three keynote programs, a portfolio of operating companies through Meridian 84, and Lafayette & Oak. At L&O, Abhi leads strategy, capital structure, and the cross-engagement work that ties everything together.

Motion is busy. Momentum is built. That’s where Abhi operates.

  • Kevin Aschman

Kevin is a capital markets marketing operator with 25+ years inside high-growth firms. He scaled AUM from $750M to $2.3B at DLP Capital, drove $800M in sales and 10x conversion improvement at Patch of Land, and cut costs and conversion timelines by 40% at Ashcroft Capital ($2B+ AUM, 100,000+ investors).

At Lafayette & Oak, Kevin leads business development, brand and narrative, and the demand infrastructure that turns operator ambition into compounding revenue: CRM, attribution, investor communications, and content programming built to run long after the engagement ends.

  • Susan Goebel

Susan is a strategist who builds order out of complexity. Decades of global leadership in healthcare, biotech, and high-growth companies. Scaled businesses to 8-figure revenues in under 18 months. Secured $35M in government funding. Led commercialization strategies across continents.

At Lafayette & Oak, Susan leads operational architecture and strategy. She turns scattered operations into systems that drive EBITDA, stabilize leadership, and unlock efficiency without unnecessary complexity.

Order out of complexity. Systems out of scatter. That’s where Susan operates.

  • Jacob Alexander

Jacob Alexander is Partner of Finance and Strategy at Lafayette & Oak. A Certified Public Accountant with a B.B.A. and M.Acc. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Jacob began his career at Ernst & Young in public accounting and consulting before turning his focus to real estate finance in 2007. For nearly two decades, he has built and stress-tested deals for institutional capital, structuring acquisitions across a network of lenders, family offices, and private financiers.

At Lafayette & Oak, Jacob leads capital strategy and financial structure, the work that makes sure every deal is built to close and every outcome is built to last.

Structure is everything. That’s where Jacob operates.

Our Values

Uncover the story of Lafayette & Oak

You've done the work. Now let's build what comes next.

We take on a limited number of engagements each quarter. Every operator we work with gets direct access to our full team and the infrastructure we build into the operation. No cohorts. No group calls. Just focused, disciplined work on the conversations and outcomes that matter most.

If you’re thinking about scale, capital, acquisition, or transition, don’t walk into that room until the work is done.

OUR PROCESS

How it Works

There is no standard engagement. Every operator is different. Every gap is different. What doesn’t change is the process.

FAQs

You asked.
We answered.

  • Who is Lafayette & Oak designed for?

Proven operators running $5M to $50M in revenue who have built something real and are ready for what comes next, whether that’s scale, acquisition, capital, or transition. The business works. The team is real. What’s missing is the infrastructure that ties it all together and makes the next chapter possible.

  • How is Lafayette & Oak different from a consulting firm or private equity?

Consultants give you a plan and leave. PE takes equity and control. We do neither. Lafayette & Oak comes in as a genuine partner; building the systems, intelligence, and capital infrastructure alongside you, with no vendor lock-in, no fund return pressure, and no binder on a shelf at the end.

  • What does Lafayette & Oak actually do?

We bring four capabilities to every engagement: business intelligence and AI, operational infrastructure, brand and narrative, and capital strategy. The specific mix depends on what the engagement actually needs. You own everything we build.

  • What if I'm not planning to sell?

Most of our partners aren’t, at least not yet. The work we do creates options. Scale what you have built. Acquire what you haven’t. Raise capital on your terms. Or simply run a better, more valuable business. The infrastructure supports any of those outcomes. You choose the direction.

  • Do you work with solo founders or leadership teams?

Both. Most engagements involve a founder plus their leadership team. Some are solo operators. The bigger the team, the more coordination value we create, but the model works in either configuration.

  • How long does it take?

It depends on the engagement. Most operators see meaningful results within the first 30 days. The full build, from diagnostic through compounding infrastructure; typically runs six to twelve months. We will tell you exactly what to expect before we start.

  • How do I get started?

Reach out through the site or email us directly. We will have an honest conversation about the business, the team, and where you are trying to go. If the fit is there, we will tell you. If it is not, we will tell you that too.
